Let me see among PFFA’s 28,252 members I know Jee Leong is a Singaporean who is based in US (I don’t think he is coming back to Singapore), and recently there is Rui. He has just posted a poem here.
Think Jee Leong is just doing his Masters there ... not that he emigrated or anything like that. Unless of course your news is more up-to- date than mine ...
Yup he is studying there. However, he gives me the impression, via our pms, that he is considering staying in US for good. I think recently he has managed to get a job too.
We met just once or twice. But our poems have appeared in the same publication several times. My brother knows him. Both of them are vice-principals in Singapore (or at least, Jee Leong was a vice-principal before he went off to the States).
Ok just to add to this conversation for the sheer heck of it - there's something so wonderfully liberating about the anonymity of the online world! :)
Yep i know there's all that stuff about not assuming that what people write about is 'true' (and i for one am very adamant about that), but Jee Leong's latest poems don't sound like he's coming back anytime soon.

I’ve always thought that Jee Leong is in his late 20s, never expected him to be older than me. :)
