Can you fall?
“In other words,” he continued, “you can’t ride. That’s a drawback. I’ll have to teach you as we go along. If you can’t ride, can you fall?”
“I suppose anyone can fall,” said Shasta.
“I mean can you fall and get up again without crying and mount again and fall again and yet not be afraid of falling?”
“I – I’ll try,” said Shasta.

One of my favourite books too :) Not easy to fall again and again. It helps to strap a pillow to butt, makes the landing much less painful!
Yup. But the main thing is to get up again. I’ve just another fall today and I am licking my wound now. :)
Let me hazard a guess : work?
If it's work, I can understand what you're going thru. These are not easy times. But you'll find the strength somehow to dust off the disapointment, pick yourself up and move on.
